HTH was established in 2020 as family fun event promoting good health and wellness, while supporting Vestavia Hills Community Schools.
The “hill” symbolizes a student’s climb from elementary school that finishes on the “hill” at VHHS and recognizes the climb of lifelong learning that connects all of us.
Join us to Hike the Hill on Nov.9th
at 2:00 pm
The Hike begins at the bridge on Morgan Road and ends on top of the hill past Vestavia Hills High Schools. Free Donato's Pizza for students that make it the top first.

What is the purpose of this event?
· To create a family fun community event that promotes good health & wellness and supports and celebrates Vestavia Hills Community Schools, students and our veterans.
· HTH reminds us of a student’s climb from elementary school that finishes on the “hill” at VHHS and the lifelong climb of learning and the importance of shared experiences to connects us all.
The Vestavia Hills Rotary Club 501c3 Foundation will use collected funds and donations to support:
· Alabama Veterans Memorial Park off Liberty Park Parkway
· Vestavia Hills School Foundation
· Vestavia Hills Math, Debate & Robotics Team
· Vestavia Hills Highs School Senior Scholarships

· Vestavia Rotary Programs including First Responder, Teachers & Vestavia Hill City Employee of the Year.

The original hike, from the creek on Morgan Road up the hill past VHHS, represents a students educational climb from elementary school to their destination on the hill.

This hike begins and ends at Cahaba Heights Elementary School, by making a loop down to the corner across from HTH dining sponsor Martin's BBQ Joint.

Liberty Park Elementary is the starting point for this hike, that takes you on a sidewalk tour ending at Lakeside Park

Vestavia Hills Math and Debate Teams are preparing students for their future.
